Grew up in a small town
I grew up in a small town in India and have always been fascinated by computer graphics and 3D. So, I pursued a degree in computer science and learned about programming.

However, I was always drawn to the design side of it. I started as a graphic designer and later transitioned into a product designer. This combination of skills and background has helped me become a better product designer.

I grew up in a small, bustling town in India, where creativity always found its way into the little corners of my life. As a child, I was mesmerized by computer graphics and 3D animations, spending hours imagining how those visuals were created. I was fascinated by how imagination could meet technology.

When it came time to choose a career path, I pursued a degree in computer science—because that’s what made sense. I learned to code, debug, and build things that worked, but something always pulled me toward the design side of the screen. Programming taught me the logic, but design gave me the freedom to create.

My journey started with graphic design, crafting visuals that told stories. But as I worked, I realized I wanted to solve problems, not just decorate them. This realization led me to product design—a field where creativity meets strategy, where aesthetics meet function.

Today, that blend of technical knowledge and a designer’s eye has shaped how I approach every project. I don’t just think about how something looks or works—I think about how it makes people feel. And that’s a story I continue to write, one pixel and interaction at a time.

Edinburgh

Today, that journey has brought me to Edinburgh, where I recently completed my master’s in User Experience. Living here has been an incredible chapter of growth, surrounded by the city’s inspiring blend of history and innovation. It’s in this creative and connected environment that I’ve deepened my skills as a product designer, shaping meaningful experiences and solving complex problems for people.

For me, design has always been about more than just how things look—it’s about how they work, how they feel, and how they make life a little easier
